The Aebli-Näf Foundation for the Promotion of Teacher Education in Switzerland was established in 1994. It is supervised by the Federal Department of Home Affairs and is based in Burgdorf, the former place of residence of its founder.
The foundation’s starting capital was provided by Hans and Verena Aebli-Näf. The statutes of the Aebli-Näf Foundation stipulate that third parties may also donate further assets to the Foundation at any time (Art.2).
